March Actions

Inspired by our March guest speakers CA Secretary for Natural Resources Wade Crowfoot and Melanie Winter, Founder/Director of The River Project, here are 3 ways you can support California’s efforts to preserve 30 percent of California’s land and coastal waters by 2030:

1. Stay Informed

Join the CA Natural Resource Agency’s email list, which includes information on current projects, articles, and legislative actions: click here to join.

2. Advocate for Nature-Based Solutions

Get involved with the efforts of the California Biodiversity Collaborative, or act locally with The River Project.

3. Conserve Water

Mitigating drought is an important step towards the climate resilience of lands we want to preserve! Convert yards to drought-tolerant native plants, invest in water-efficient appliances, and advocate for more stormwater capture infrastructure.
