About the event
The Wild & Scenic Film Festival inspires environmental activism and a love for nature through film. As we feel the urgency of protecting wildlife and wild lands, we can find inspiration in this evening of 9 short films that explore the natural world and our place in it.
The evening will feature guest speakers from two films: Pascal Baudar, forager extraordinaire and star of the film Forgotten Flavors, and Isaias Hernandez, intersectional environmentalist, educator, and storyteller, who will discuss the community-led food sovereignty initiatives showcased in From Soil To Soul: Food Justice in LA.
