About the event
S.O.W. Collective Native Plant Nursery Grand Opening!
Join us October 10th for an in-person event to open the new native plant nursery at the S.O.W. Collective Backyard Farm in Reseda. Under the guidance of Antonio Sanchez (our guest speaker in February 2022), S.O.W. Collective (our guest speaker in June 2026) has added a native plant nursery to their community farm and will be selling all native plants (70 varieties!) for just $5!
Bring the family and find the perfect native plants for your space, meet 20+ local organizations, and hear from guest speakers. Enjoy live music by native plant band Sage Against the Machine, family activities, free native plant food samples, and the Ubatuba Food Truck. Our chapter will be tabling at this event, so stop by to say hello.
Together, we're restoring the San Fernando Valley's ecosystem, one plant at a time!
Saturday October 10th, 10am - 2pm
