The San Fernando Valley and Orange County chapters of Climate Reality Project invite you to a special event when two extraordinary leaders, Ellie Cohen (CEO The Climate Center) and Dr. Richelle Tanner (Science Communicator), will speak on Climate Advocacy & Communication. Join us to hear them share their experiences fighting for climate—the struggles and the successes. Advocating for climate change is a complex issue and there are no easy answers. This discussion will touch on:

• How can we communicate effectively about climate action?
• How do we find common ground with folks who don't see climate change as a high priority?
• Where's the line between discouraging people with the difficulty of the problem and getting them fired up to solve it?
• How do we raise the volume of our advocacy?
