January Chapter Meeting

Join our January chapter meeting to hear from guest speakers Alex Helou, Assistant Director, LA Sanitation and Jennifer Pinkerton, Assistant Division Manager for Solid Resources Citywide Recycling Division (SRCRD). They will be discussing the LA Sanitation Comprehensive Single Use Plastic Report and City ordinances that could be implemented to reduce single use plastic in Los Angeles. We will also discuss organic waste reduction procedures for compliance with Senate Bill 1383, the new household composting law.
