About the event
Have you seen the wildlife crossing being built over the 101 freeway in Agoura Hills? Curious what that’s for? When it will be finished? Wondering how animals will know how to find and use it? Learn all this and more from our Guest Speaker Beth Pratt at our chapter meeting, August 13th, 7pm. She will explain why this historic Wallis Annenberg Wildlife Crossing is important for wildlife living within our urban area, and will also share next steps on how to coexist more sustainably with wildlife in the future.
Beth Pratt has enjoyed more than 30 years as a wildlife advocate. She is now a Regional Executive Director at the National Wildlife Federation and holds the leadership role overseeing two of the country's largest national parks, Yosemite and Yellowstone. She is the passionate voice who led the #SaveLACougars campaign for P-22. She has written numerous books on wildlife conservation, has been featured in numerous media articles, and has won recognition and awards for her conservation work.
