About the event
Register at www.bit.ly/VDS2024 to join members of our chapter at one of the volunteer service events at Assemblymember Jesse Gabriel's 3rd Annual Valley Day of Service! We'll have a booth at the Pierce College site, so stop by and say hello. All the volunteer opportunities are worthwhile, but we're particularly encouraging our members to sign up for one of these three:
Canoga Park: Plant drought resistant shrubs and flowers to beautify the New Economics for Women facility.
Van Nuys: Help build a garden of native trees and plants at the Mid Valley YMCA with TreePeople, Santa Monica Mountains Fund, and SF Valley Rose Society.
Lake Balboa: Clean up the Sepulveda Basin with Volunteers Cleaning Communities.
